You Have Found Your Way Here

Like most things of quiet importance, The WyldeWoode began not as a plan, but as a feeling, a dream that lingered patiently until I was ready to recognise it.

For much of my life, I was busy walking the well-worn paths before me. I grew up, married, raised six beautiful children, and lived the many chapters life offered. But as time went on, and after enduring a deep unravelling that sometimes reshapes us, I found myself standing in unfamiliar territory. Something essential was missing. I couldn’t name it, I only felt its absence.

It was during this time, in a small esoteric shop called Eclectic Dreams in the small town where I lived, that something within me quietly stirred. Through the kindness, wisdom, and gentle encouragement of the women I met there, I began to rediscover a way of seeing that I had not realised I had lost. What began as curiosity slowly deepened into something more enduring, a love of the old stories, the unseen threads that weave through the natural world, and the quiet presence of wonder itself.

I do not claim certainty about such things. I only know that there have been moments, small, unassuming, and easily dismissed, that felt like more than coincidence. Moments of guidance. Moments of reassurance. Moments of quiet knowing.

People across the world hold different beliefs about what moves beside us and beyond us. Some call it God. Some call it the Universe. Some feel it in nature itself. For me, that presence has often made itself known through the language of the forest, through intuition, through symbols, and through the enduring stories of the Fae and the ancient places they are said to inhabit.

The WyldeWoode was born from that remembering.

What began as a simple idea became a small market stall, and from there, slowly and naturally, grew into the space you see here today. It is a place shaped not only by my own path, but by the unwavering love and support of family and friends who believed in this dream alongside me.

The WyldeWoode is not a destination so much as an invitation.

Here you will find books, cards, journals, and curious things, each chosen with care, each carrying its own quiet story. This space will continue to evolve, as all living things do. New paths will appear. Others may fade. Such is the nature of all true forests.

You are welcome here.

Walk gently. Wander slowly.
And see what you may find waiting for you.

Claire.
